Tony Romo having, "a fabulous camp''
Tony Romo has consistently been on target in this camp, so much so that it's easy to take for granted.
Almost
"He's had a fabulous camp so far,'' quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson said. "He plays practice as real as anybody I've ever been around. He treats it like a game. When our guys are rushing him, he has a complete understanding of where he wants to go with the ball. If he has to move to get rid of the ball, he knows where to get it out.
"If everything is clean, he is throwing the ball as accurate as I've seen. Better than last year.''
Ball security was an emphasis for Romo in last year's camp. This camp, the staff wants the quarterback to work on his throws to the receiver's back shoulder when the defense is high and takes the throw over the top away.
"He's done that extremely well,'' Wilson said.
And what about protecting the ball?
"It's natural for him now,'' Wilson said. "He's got two hands on the ball at all times.
"He's asserting his personality onto the offense as well. In the meetings and on the practice field, it comes in how he approaches things every day.''
